10 Minute Pineapple Fried Rice - this super easy recipe is not only quick but a great way to do a fridge cleanout.
Fried rice is great for many reasons:
You can make it a whole meal
It’s easy and quick to make
You’re able to make lots - perfect for lunches
It’s healthy and kid friendly
While it’s one of those great side dishes; fried rice can also be a whole meal when you add in the right proteins. Scrambling eggs into the rice at the end is a great way to add some protein and nutrients to your dish. You can also use leftover ham, beef or anything else you want to add.
TIPS
LEFTOVERS
Add things you need to use up. Whether it’s leftover steak, cooked ham or even a few shrimp from a shrimp ring. I also like to use the leftover veggies from dinner the night before (you know when your kids decide they don’t like peas one day).
RICE
The secret to amazing fried rice is not using freshly cooked rice. That’s right, it needs to be at least a few hours cooked and chilled to get the signature fried rice texture.
