Meatball Sub Dippers

I am a firm believer that all the best eats come on a stick. The whole fair food thing makes me happy. Plus, the kids always seem drawn to food that they can eat without utensils. So for your next party app or weeknight treat wow your company with this easy recipe.

weave rolled out Pilsbury dough between meatballs.
How to prepare the dippers

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 1 can Pillsbury Flaky Rolls

  • 30 meatballs (I used frozen pre-made)

  • 10 wooden skewers

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella

  • 1 cup warm marinara sauce



A quick family friendly recipe.

STEPS

1. Roll pre cut dough portions into long roll strips.

2. Skewer the meatballs and dough by weaving dough around meatball while pushing the wooden skewer through it. (See image).

3. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with italian seasoning.

4. Bake at 350F for 18-20 min on your grill or in your oven.

4. At the 15 minute mark sprinkle with mozzarella or cheese of your choosing. 

5. Serve with warm marinara sauce.
